Happy St. George’s day, England!

Standard

Saint George’s Day is the feast day of Saint George and the National Day for England, although it is not an official national holiday there. So whether you have to work or not: have a lovely day!

By the way, did you know that UNESCO declared this day the International Day of the Book, since 23 April 1616 was the date of death and possibly anniversary of birth of both William Shakespeare (according to the Julian calendar) and the Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes (according to the Gregorian calendar)?
